A Little History

My name is Bob Nevola and I build and finish the products that we sell.  As a child I developed 2 very strong interests....food and wood working, instead of saturday morning cartoons I watched Julia Child or This Old House.  In college I earned a bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales University, with a major in culinary arts.  From there I worked my way up the ranks of some of the finest hotels in Boston, and in my free time honed my woodworking skills.  Creating and building butcher blocks lets me excersize what I've learned over the years about food safety and science, as well as handling and manipulating wood in a way that makes something beautiful and durable.
